Brakes on "The Edgewater" were grinding metal against metal when we test drove it so some cheap new pads were obtained to sort this out.

As you can see, there was pretty much nothing left of the friction material on the pad.

Unfortunately changing the front pads on a 33 is not as simple as some other cars and the calipers had to be removed and disassembled / bled etc etc. Unfortunately we had drunk a few too many beers by the time it came to bleeding the brakes and a test drive revealed the brakes to be as effective as a fart.

..Bleeding resumed in the morning.

Later in the day Chris gives himself a once over and ensures all nuts are tightly fastened.

The Cleansing

As our vehicle of choice only cost us a mere £20, we decided it didn't require too much care when washing it.

A mop and some brasso does wonders.

The Beginning

Picture of 'The Edgewater' as we recieved it. No MOT, no tax, no insurance, dodgy brakes, dodgy clutch... a fine example of a great reliable Italian automobile.

The Plymouth Banjul 2006 Launch Party

And what an evening of merriment it was!
Hmmm, charcoal sausage hotdogs with a garnish of freshly trampled lettuce.
Who are those fine gentlemen, and what are they doing to that car?
If it won't go by itself, push it.
Perhaps this tent is a little small?
