Brakes on "The Edgewater" were grinding metal against metal when we test drove it so some cheap new pads were obtained to sort this out.
As you can see, there was pretty much nothing left of the friction material on the pad.
Unfortunately changing the front pads on a 33 is not as simple as some other cars and the calipers had to be removed and disassembled / bled etc etc. Unfortunately we had drunk a few too many beers by the time it came to bleeding the brakes and a test drive revealed the brakes to be as effective as a fart.
..Bleeding resumed in the morning.
Later in the day Chris gives himself a once over and ensures all nuts are tightly fastened.
